Guests consistently praise the hotel's historical charm and convenient location, just steps away from attractions like the Opera House and across the street from shopping. The spacious rooms, some featuring large marble bathrooms and walk-in closets, also receive positive attention. Breakfast in the Imperial Cafè is a highlight, and some guests have pointed out that the main lobby feels underwhelming upon entering from the street. Many appreciate the luxurious touches, with some even describing the experience as feeling like royalty.

The breakfast was acceptable it offered a wide selection.
The air conditioning barely worked making the room uncomfortably warm even after I reported it to the front desk maintenance did not address the issue during my entire stay the bathroom was also disappointing the shower pressure was very low and inconsistent hindering a proper wash.

Flawless Experience

close location spacious room deep tub
The hotel is steps away from every attraction. The opera house is a mere five minutes away from the entrance. The beautiful king room was suite-level spacious. The deep tub would have accommodated an NBA star. The closet area could have held a month's wardrobe.
The room was not heated upon arrival. I had to turn on the heating system and return two hours later. The coffee was not refreshed until I drew the staff's attention. The extra bed was of very poor quality.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast team at Cafe Imperial was accommodating. They arranged a piece of the famous Imperial torte. The Opus restaurant provided a Valentines dinner that was special.
Location
10/10
The hotel is in the heart of the city. It is close to museums restaurants and nightlife. Several S-bahn stops are near the hotel. They made visiting neighbourhoods easier.

My room, a Beautiful King Room, featured unusually spacious accommodations. I found the furnishings magnificent, especially the heavy draperies. The large marble bathroom included cozy bathrobes. (I must admit I reminded me of royalty).

The location was perfect near the Opera House and S-bahn stops were also close by.
The bathroom was substandard the shower was small and had mold in the grout lines. Hot water took several minutes to reach the room's faucet for showers. Electrical outlets only supported European standards and USB ports were missing I found this inconvenient.
